I live in the wilds of Hampshire. Dim sum hut is the closest restaurant to me serving freshly made dim sum. Luckily for me, they serve good quality dim sum with a good variety of dishes
They also do a traditional menu but I’m usually here for dim sum lunch. The staff do a good job, especially when it gets really busy- Meal type

Hey everyone out there, we are lucky to have this family in town! Great food all the time, great friendly service as well! Their dim sum is really in the high standard side comparing to those nearest big Chinese restaurants around this area!

Walked past a few times and decided to try today. Highly recommend the dim sum menu which is not so common in Portsmouth. Food was fresh, authentic and flavourful - we will definitely be returning! Special recommendation for the turnip cake.
Tasty and cheap dim sum with a great atmosphere. Would 100% recommend if you’re ever in the area.

Amazing food. Staff are very welcoming and the menu is extensive and packed full of dim sum favourites as well as many other Chinese dishes. I recommend all of the steamed and friends dim sum, the Cheung fun and also the dry fried ho fun with beef. Prices are very reasonable.
5* for their homemade dumplings that are around #55 at £9.50. So tasty and that sauce was incredible and a flavour I have never tasted before. The rest was clean and fresh but I'd come back just for those dumplings and some rice.
Great place for dim sum and Chinese food. The steamed chicken was soft and flavourful. Dim Sum cooked to a good standard. Service was fast. Decent price. Fully recommend.
We love this place. So much so that we drive for an hour to visit. Great dim sum and friendly staff.

Not sure if you can just walk in, but making a booking over the phone will help. Had a great experience, thank you so much.

Trust me, I was born and raised in Hong Kong. Jasmine tea runs through my veins. My spirit is lifted by the smell of steaming bamboo. I am one with har gau. This place is good.
The only thing that wasn't perfect was the char siu bao filling. The bao itself, light as a heavenly cloud, delicious and fluffy. The filing, however left a lot to be desired.
But on a cold rainy Sunday morning when my heart aches for the chaos of Hong Kong this is where I will go to soothe my yearning heart.Great foods best visit once
Food was so nice, good service. Worth it! The best custard bun 😍
